Homeschooling and Independent Study Art Classes

Beginning September 10, 2017 Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays

Homeschooling? Independent study? Enroll your student in art class at Charity Wings Art & Craft Center in the Quad at San Marcos this fall. Classes for all ages start the week of September 10th; registration has already begun.

Tuesdays, 11am -12pm “Art Together;”
fun art for kids 8 and under and a parent:

Kids will have fun exploring and parents will learn new techniques and vocabulary to help take the “scary” out of teaching art.

Wednesdays, 10:30am-11:30am
High and Middle School Art Studies:
This class consists of continuous six week sessions covering the elements of art, art history, exploration of media, and techniques. Students receive a syllabus at the first class each session making it easy to apply credit for the class.

Fridays, 12:30-1:30pm,
students 8 to adult Explore fiber, Textiles, and Sewing:
We’ll be starting with the basics and moving through weaving, knitting and into machine and hand sewing. You do not need a sewing machine (or any other tools) for this class. Charity Wings Art & Craft Center has everything you need.

Space is limited in all classes. The classes will only be held when the minimum number of students is met, so register as soon as possible. A refund or credit will be offered if you register for a class that doesn’t meet minimum enrollment, so don’t wait.
In addition to the three classes scheduled, we offer custom classes! Organize your homeschooling group of five to twelve students and decide what you’d like to learn, or what day and time you’d like, and we’ll work together to create a custom class just for you.
Please call 760.591.3010 to arrange a time to meet Charity Wings staff and tour the center.
