Admin Assistant (24-30 hours per week) Pay Rate: $13-$16 per hour

Summary: Organize and assist the day-to-day tasks of the Executive Director (ED) and the organization. This position is perfect for someone who is organized and likes to check things off a list.  There are many moving parts to Charity Wings and this person will have their hands in almost everything.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • State, Federal and Nonprofit filings
  • Writing correspondences on behalf of the ED after trade shows, events, meetings, etc
  • Maintain sponsor contracts
  • Take notes from meetings and transcribe into a to do/action list/calendar
  • Maintain the calendar
  • Communication with staff, volunteers, members and guests
  • Shipping
  • Creating procedures and maintaining the Google Drive folders
  • Maintain/organize filing system (paper and on computer)
  • Internet research
  • Reply to inquiry emails
  • Some event planning and coordination
  • Submit expense and mileage reports
  • Possible travel to events and tradeshows

  • Previous Admin Assistant experience
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Google Drive
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Youtube and Instagram 
  • bonus: Experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, WordPress, Lastpass, Asana, Any ERP software, Email Newsletters and video editing.

Art Center Hostess (Volunteer/Intern)

Summary: Greet guests and guide them in projects while keeping the center clean and organized. This position is perfect for someone that is looking for experience in the nonprofit sector or who is studying art. It is a very rewarding a fun job for those that take pride in what they do and who want to contribute to their community and help others.
